An apple a day keeps the doctor away, right? While it is not true that eating apples can keep you from needing your annual check-up, it is true that apples are loaded with antioxidants, quercetin, and catechin — promoting a healthy metabolism while reducing inflammation.

Yogurt

Not only is yogurt an excellent snack, but it is also a great source of probiotic bacteria. Probiotic bacteria are live bacteria that boost your immune system and re-balance your natural “gut bacteria” — leaving you feeling happier and healthier.
